My Story

Introduction

As a minister's daughter, I grew up knowing I wanted to help people. From an early age, I was especially passionate about children, animals, and holidays, and I shaped my life's goals around those passions. I also knew that one day I wanted to adopt children.  In 2000, I married the love of my life, and together we were blessed to build the family we had dreamed of. We adopted two beautiful daughters, welcomed a third daughter through birth, and have also been blessed to play a vital role in our grandson's life.
 

My passion for caring for others led me to pursue a career in both education and healthcare. I earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development and became a Registered Nurse, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Over the course of 35 years, I had the privilege of serving in many areas of nursing, caring for patients and their families through every stage of life as well as owning and operating three daycare centers, each lovingly named after one of our daughters: Clarissa's Corner, Caitlin's Corner, and Cassidy's Corner. Owning these daycares gave me the priceless opportunity to spend each day with my children until they began school while also providing a safe, nurturing environment for countless other families.
 

Eventually, I found a way to bring together my greatest passions—children, animals, and holidays—by creating Holiday Miniature Farm. The farm offers sensory-friendly encounters and engaging activities designed for children and adults of all abilities. My goal is to create a place where families can make lasting memories, experience the joy of interacting with animals, celebrate the magic of every season, and feel welcomed, included, and loved.

Holiday Miniature Farm is more than a business—it's the realization of a lifelong dream and a reflection of my heart for serving others. Every child who smiles, every family who creates a special memory, and every person who feels accepted reminds me why I chose this path. I look forward to continuing this journey and sharing the joy of the farm with many more families for years to come.
